Is eating dark chocolate healthy or just healthier than milk chocolate?

It’s my favorite and a bunch of people have told me that it’s actually good for you. I’m just wondering, is this true? Thanks!

Yes, it is actually good for you. Just don’t eat a whole lot. After all, chocolate is chocolate. However, dark chocolate has many health benefits white or milk chocolate doesn’t :) Hope this helped!

Yes, it is actually good for you. Just don’t eat a whole lot. After all, chocolate is chocolate. However, dark chocolate has many health benefits white or milk chocolate doesn’t :) Hope this helped!

Dark chocolate contains antioxidants which help reduce blood pressure, helps prevent heart disease, and helps slow down the effects of aging (wrinkles, etc) among a lot of other benefits. This doesn’t mean that you should eat dark chocolate in high quantities like you should fruits or vegetables. A small amount (about half a bar) a day is very good for you.

Milk chocolate contains less cocoa than dark chocolate and is therefore not as good for you as dark chocolate (since cocoa is the thing that gives the dark chocolate so many benefits).

Yes, this is true :) Dark chocolate does a lot for the body. There is a long list…

it lower’s cholesterol
it lower’s blood preassure
stimilates endorphines in the body ;)
finally, it is stocked full of antioxidints which helps the body from ageing

So keep on eating that chocolate, just remember that too much just adds up calories. It is said to have a 1.6 ounce of dark chocolate a day. No more, no less.
